Evelyn Marie Haner, 43, 1840 T-Bone, died Tuesday July 23, 1996 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
She was born July 11, 1953 in Ulysses, the daughter of Clifford Lee and Nadine Miller Bullock. She was a homemaker and had been a former Satanta and Plymell resident before moving to Garden City in 1990.
She was a member of the Riverside Church of God and Christ, Garden City. Mrs. Haner was the commander of the VFW Auxiliary, a VFW bingo volunteer and bereavement committee member, and the secretary of the Kansas Vietnam Veterans Post #1.
On October 25, 1971 she married Wesley Haner in Borger, Texas. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Dan Haner, Scott City; a brother David Bullock, Ulysses; and a sister-in-law Fern McManaman, Manter.
Because of scientific bequethal, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Instead of flowers, the family requests memorials to be given to the veterans of the Vietnam War Kansas Post #1, in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home.
