Events	Leo Whipple, age 72, of Johnson, Kansas died Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson, Kansas. He was born October 9, 1944, in Syracuse, Kansas, the son of Earl and Irma (Becker) Whipple. Leo attended Stanton County schools and graduated high school in 1962. He later earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University and worked in banks in Chicago and Denver. In 1979, he returned to Stanton County to farm. Leo enjoyed thunderstorms and football Leo is survived by his sister, Judy Whipple of Johnson, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Irma Whipple, and a brother, Joe Whipple. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson, Kansas with Pastor Carl Kissell officiating.
