Larry D. Harmon, 72, of Ulysses, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.
He was born March 4, 1938, in Elkhart, to Cecil D. and Marjorie Batterton Harmon.
On Jan. 31, 1959, he married Shirley Reece in Holly, Colo.
A Ulysses resident since 2003, Mr. Harmon was a service man for Peoples Gas Co. and Greeley Gas Co., retiring in 1994.
His wife died June 6, 2010. He also was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Marc D. Harmon of Ulysses; two brothers, Dave Harmon of San Isabel, Colo., and Marion Harmon of Liberal; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral wsd at Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church in Johnson City. Masonic graveside service were at Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson City.
