Events	Anthony Dorsey July 21, 1936 - Aug 1, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Bill passed away August 1st at OU Medical Center at the age of 76, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in the gold mining town of Grass Valley, CA, where his father was a gold miner and his mother operated a Room & Board. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Clara Dorsey; sister, Audrey Eileen (Dena) Bolton; and daughter, Darlene Annette Dorsey. Bill graduated from Stanton County Community High School in Johnson, KS May 1953 at age 16 and joined the military at 17, where some assignments still cannot be revealed. Many years were spent in the trucking business, after which a total of 29 years were spent in civil service at Tinker AFB, OK. Bill retired in 2002 to spend the rest of his life at leisure. He enjoyed his wonderful puppy, Gretchen; listening to music; square dancing; camping; travel; and his amazing grandchildren. Bill is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary Carolyn Dorsey; daughters, Aarlene Campion & husband Tom, Kelly Ruffin & husband Don, Kathy Jeffers & husband Frank, Monica Miller & husband Clay, Kay Wardlow & husband Chris, and Terri Haines & husband Mike; grandchildren, Elizabeth Campion, Hayden Haines, Garrett Wardlow, Hannah Haines, Morgan Wardlow, Paige Jeffers and Chance Jeffers; brother, James Howard Dorsey & wife Wanda; sisters, Sharon Dare and Bertha Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
