In Memory of

Sandra Lee Streckfus, 53 of Lakin, Kansas died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born August 20, 1959 in Ulysses, Kansas the daughter of Howard & Ruby (Carter) Campbell.

Sandra grew up in the Manter, Kansas area. She graduated from Stanton County High School in 1977. In 1978 she graduated from Brown-Mackie College. She moved to Lakin, Kansas and has lived in Lakin since. She began working as a secretary for the Farm Bureau Agency in Lakin. She also worked as a homemaker, and she later worked at Bob's Affiliated Foods. For the last 14 years, Sandra has worked as a Para Professional at the Lakin Middle School. She enjoyed reading, watching baseball, cooking, and working with her students.

Survivors include three sons Joe Streckfus of Lillington, North Carolina, Austin Streckfus of Lakin, Kansas, and William Streckfus of Lakin, Kansas; her mother Ruby Campbell of Lakin, Kansas; two sisters Shari Campbell of Lakin, Kansas and Sally Campbell of Wichita, Kansas; a granddaughter Kuhlsie Kraft of Lakin, Kansas; and a niece Sydney Hough of Lakin, Kansas.

Sandra is preceded in death by her father.
