Lois VanHooser, 43, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at her home in Ulysses.
She was born Jul. 5, 1963, at Fort Morgan, Colo., the daughter of William Fred and Dortha Lee Begley. She married Virgil VanHooser on Oct. 25, 1986, at Johnson. He survives.
She graduated from Stanton County High School and spent her adult years in Ulysses as a housewife.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ulysses.
Survivors include one son, Alan Pucket, Ulysses; one daughter, Felichia Burns, Lakin; her mother, Clinton, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, Ulysses, with the Rev. Chuck Jackson presiding. Burial will follow at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home, Ulysses.
