So sorry.
We grew up next door to each other. Barry and his two brothers and me and my two sisters. We both attended Virginia Union University. Our Moms planned a trip to surprise visit us, but sadly his Mom, "Ms. Louise" passed away the morning they were to leave on the trip. This was such a. sadness. I did not see him till he returned to school and recall not knowing what to say to him. His Mom always had a smile on her face and I recall her bing a happy person.

Barry was influenced by Rev. Sargent, Pastor at Union Baptist, in both his college choice and career in the clergy. It was a comfort for me to know Barry would be at Virginia Union and hence my choice of college.
