The last 37 years since graduation have been full and blessed by the Lord. I went to college, got married, had two children, and then I buried my first husband of 10 years. 5 years later I remarried. My husband was a preacher and we had a ministry from 1999 to 2014 to juvenile delinquents locked up in prison. We traveled all over the country and went into prisons where children were locked up. My husband preached, I prayed and handed out literature and we counseled troubled kids. My husband called me his "American Express' wife because he didn't leave home without me. In 2009 we started a boys home in Alabama and then transferred the home to South Carolina where we owned a house and 10 acres. We had 20 troubled boys come through our doors that lived with us. I home schooled them, my husband taught them from the word of God and we raised them to have good work ethics and accountability. Work was part of the day. We had chickens, horses, a donkey, a dog and cats. In 2014 my husband was diagnosed with Leukemia and passed away in 43 days. I closed the boys home and moved to Arizona to live with Mom and Dad. I'm in a good church with loving and caring people there and I have thousands of dear brothers and sisters in Christ all across this nation who love me and I thank God for. I'm looking into a children's ministry out here in the west. Would love to hear from some of my classmates about their lives since graduation. God bless.
