Stephen Stephen Carnell '64 said:

Steve was my best friend at Stadium. We hung out together, worked together and went camping together. In the summer of 1963 we told our parents that we were going camping in Eastern Washington. We got to Eastern Washington in his old car and kept going....all the way to Reno, Nevada. I don't remember why. When we got kicked out of three casinos we got back in his old car and came home. We told our parents that we had a great time camping!
