Doug died July 31, 1974;in a helicopter accident. He was flying in Utah on fire suppression missions at the time. He was a great friend and fellow Madrigal singer at Stadium. We got to fly together for a few days in Vietnam and we were room mates in Sun Valley for three years after we both came home. You could not ask for a better friend. I knew his father, John, his mother, Margi, and his sister Peggy (SHS ‘68). All gone now. All great people.
