Roselle Marie Chabot

Class of 1985

Great Principal, Father Len Lunney. I later reached out and asked if he could marry my husband and I. He did in the summer of1993 and later he met our first born back in 1994.

I also invited Sister Noonan, she came to the wedding as well! She was always there for me during high-school if I was ruffed up by the popular and confident. A great counsellor and something I I turn do with my math students or other courses I teach.

Father Lunney was always us the open ear to all of the students. He got involved and was a kid at heart

Great memories of being on the track and field and cross-country team, making it to the provincials. I’ll have to find and load old pics.

I also have the 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, and 1985 yearbooks and all in great shape ...

Mr Van Douzen was the teacher in charge of the running during these years. I often wonder where many teachers are. They’d all be 80yrs and/or younger.

Oh, when I graduated from Grade 12, we did it at the Roman Catholic Basilica downtown. A great memory as well that was done yearly for all Grade 12 and 13 students ... I hope students today still get to experience it.

Oh, in Grade 10 math homeroom, I designed our class t-shirts called the Foxy Ladies. Group decision but they ‘left’ me to draw the fox. The teacher was so young, a new teacher in 1983, so she’d be hmmm about 60yrs today.

Oh, the many memories and some friends I wish I could remember, guess I’ll have to look at the yearbooks and post to this Alumni Site.
