About Me	I played basketball for the University of Minnesota and then in the UK for a short time. I moved to San Diego (where I still live) and attended law school. During my career I was able to work as an expat in 13 countries. In the last 17 years I have had 2 brain surgeries for brain aneurysms, 5 strokes, 5 seizures, and 3 spinal surgeries. I had started fencing when I was 45 and when my health went south I switched to wheelchair fencing. I made the US wheelchair fencing team and was an alternate for the 2012 Paralympics in London.
