Our 60th Class Reunion was tremendous! Great venue and turnout. Lois Travis worked all the details...did a fine job.
I rode my motorcycle in from New Hampshire and was blamed for bringing torrential rains and flooding to central Michigan. It was a hoot! I was in Imlay City, stopped at McDonald's for breakfast; a fellow came with two yellow signs about Caution Wet Floor and put one on each side of me as I stood at the counter. I made a puddle a yard wide from the rain water dripping off my rain gear. I even got a round of applause from a table full of Q-tips.
As I was trying to get from Edmore to Mecosta, every road was closed except the one north of Blanchard where there was water flowing across the pavement. So, I got to the upstream side and slowly proceeded. The Spyder created a bow wave and I noticed my trailer was floating and drifting downstream...like it was trying to pass me....another hoot!
