| About Me | What am I doing in NJ? I was tired of the lack of jobs in Michigan and, Fae, my first wife's, parents lived in NJ. We moved in Aug 76. The next week I was hired for my "Dream" job. As a sales engineer for Eclipse Inc. I sold boilers and chem process heaters. 4 years later I was offered a job as national sales manager for Burnzol, one of my customers. 2 years later, 1982 I started my own company Hitemp Tech. I had learned I was too much of an asshole to work for someone else. When I was in HS I read a book by James Michener call "The Drifters". One of the characters in the book was a tech rep that traveled to install radar and communication systems for airports around the world. I have been lucky that I can travel and install my equipment. Projects have been in Columbia, Egypt, China, Estonia, Tiawan, Russia, and Philippines. Can you tell I love my job? I was in China last week hoping to get a project with Petrochina. I have 2 boys, Chris and Jeff, with my first wife Fae, and later married Julie who had 2 girls Brigitte and Victoria. We have 5 grands. All great kids. You are right, the grands are the best. The problem is I feel too young to have this many grands. I tell my friends the only weird thing is when you realize your sleeping with a grandmother. Ouch. Julie just hit me.
