| About Me | I attended Grand Valley State University from 1990-1996. I received my first degree in 1994 and went back to school for my nursing degree. After graduation I started working at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids. I have been there for the last 12 years and love it. I work part-time in the Pediatric Oncology/Hematology/Bone Marrow Transplant inpatient unit. I am very fortunate to work with real heroes. Those kids are so incredibly tough and resilient. Keeps me humble and keeps things in my life in perspective for sure. I have been married 10 years to Scott, who I met at GVSU. We have 3 GREAT kids a dog and a cat.
