Captain Military Police Corps. Served in Vietnam in 1967 -1968 with 504th MP BN in support of 101st Airborne and Ist Air Calvary.
Last duty station was Fort Sheridan IL, Company commander 202nd MP Company. Resigned commission in 1971 and graduated U OF M with help from GI Bill. The class of 1964 tragically lost some of it's best in Viet Nam. As a civilian, I vehemently opposed the war; 52,000 of America's finest died in Vietnam so politicians could save face. May they rest in peace.

I started in 1966 as a RadioTeletype operator PVT E-1) with the 147th Signal Battalion in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 27 years, 9 months and 22 days later, I retired as a Senior Data Processing NCO (SGM E-9) with the 335th Signal Battalion in East Point, Georgia. My career as a Citizen/Soldier had its ups and downs, but it was always enjoyable. I've written a book about my experiences and an electronic copy of it is available free.
