About	David Paul Nordquist, age 50, St. Cloud, MN, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at his home after and long and courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Paul Dare will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN. David was born November 12, 1965 in St. Cloud, MN to Merle W. and Marian G. (Bentz) Nordquist. He graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1984. On December 10, 1999 David married Luann Schockweiler in Santiago, MN. He was a member of the Plumbers Union Local 15 for over 15 years. David was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Luann Nordquist of St. Cloud, MN; daughters, Ashley Nordquist at home; and Kristin Johnson of St. Cloud, MN; son, Dylan Johnson of St. Cloud, MN; brothers and sisters, Robert G. (Sandy) Nordquist of St. Cloud, MN; John W. Nordquist of Sauk Rapids, MN; Richard (Karen) Nordquist of St. Cloud, MN; Lynne (Peter) Finneman of Sartell, MN; Lois (Kevin) Feneis of Sartell, MN; and Kim (James) Fahnhorst of Minnetonka, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
