About	Sartell, MN - Nita Marie Kelley, age 71, Sartell, MN, died at home after a 7 month battle with Multiple Myeloma. Due to Covid the family will host a celebration of Nita's life in June 2021. A private graveside service will be planned at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN after the Celebration of Life service. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN. Nita was born February 16, 1949 in St. Cloud, Mn to Ronald and Bernice (Ulginer) Ness. She graduated from Technical High School in 1967. Nita was united in marriage to Wayne G. Kelley on October 23, 1981 in the home they built together in Sauk Rapids. Nita worked at optical labs prior to her changing careers. Nita loved to sew and has traveled the State of Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin selling her wears to many at numerous craft sales. Along with sewing, Nita also enjoyed roller skating, downhill skiing, trips on their Gold Wing motorcycle, archery, hunting, camping, boating and ice fishing. Her last 34 summers were spent at their lake place where she enjoyed spending time with family and many friends gathered around the fire pit or floating in her flamingo floatie enjoying a bloody beer. Survivors include, the love of her life of 39 years, Wayne; children, Chris (Clorice) Clubb of Hugo, Shelly (Brian ) Vikemeier of Annandale, Tim (Andrea) Kelley of Dodge Center, Melissa Kelley of Lakeville and Melissa (Dwight) Raatz of Delano; grandchildren, Riley, Jacob, Kally, Emma, Madeline, Gabby, Alex, Dillon, Sabrina, Connor, Talia, Jackson, Katie and Christopher; five great grandchildren with one on the way; mother, Bernice Ness; sister, Donna Ness, and brother, John Ness; along with several in-laws and close friends She was preceded in death by her father, brothers, Kenny, Dennis and David.
