| About Me | Worked at Monsanto for a while. Moved to Steelville in 88. Worked for my brothers printing company doing computer graphics design. I was a stay-at-home mom with my last two kids until my middle child started school. My dad and I built my house in 95, after that Dad and I were in the house building business for about 10 years. The last house I built for my son and his wife and I decided to retire. Have you seen what a carpenter looks like at 60? I didn't want to wreck myself or my dad so we slowed down. We both farmed his acreage, soybeans and wheat. A friend of mine found out I was getting out of carpentry and looking for something else to do, she asked me to help her in the kitchen at Wildwood. After a couple of years of training I am now the Dinner Chef for the lodge. In the fall we do concerts with bands from the 60s and 70s. America, The Guess Who, Dave Mason, lots more. Come and eat in my dinning room and hear a concert if you have the time.
