About	Ranse "Ron" Willem Roos, 53, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 1995, ar Mercy Center. He was born in Amsterdam, Holland on December 11, 1942. During WWII he and his family would often stay in hidden rooms to keep away from the German soldiers. After the war, his family came to America and settled in St. Charles, Illinois. As a teenager, Ron excelled in track and field and was an Illinois State Championship Swimmer. After attending Aurora College, Ron worked as a credit manager for Lyon Metal Inc. and later DuKane Corp. He went to work for Color Tile as a store manager. For the last 5 years, he owner his own flooring company. He was an accomplished pianist and photographer. He taught photography for several years at both the Fox Valley Park District and Waubonsee Community College. His memberships include Toastmasters, Aurora Chamber of Commerce, National Federation of Independent Businessmen & Mensa. Surviors include two sons, Stephen of Aurora, Colorado and Philip of Naperville; one daugher, Joanna Russell of Aurora; his father Ranse Roos of Waco, Texas; one brother James Roos of Littleton, Colorado and one niece, Elizabeth Roos also of Littleton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Roos. A pivate service will be held in the state in loved, Colorado.
