Lab TechnicianWINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Avis Gager of Winter Haven died of breast cancer Friday (Nov. 29, 2002) at her home. She was 60. She was born in St. Charles, IL on March 22, 1942. She worked as a lab technician at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Meredith Gager; son, Jason Gager, Roseville, Calif.; daughter Tippi Gager, Charlotte, N.C.; mother, Ann Askeland, Sebring; sisters, Peggy Stephenson, Sebring, Laurie Bunting, Sarasota; and brother David Askeland, Marietta, Ga. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. A memorial service will be held later.
