William C. Foulkes, 47, of St. Charles, died Saturday, June 3, 1989 at home.
He was born February 3, 1942 in St. Charles, the son of Walter and Mary Foulkes.
Mr. Foulkes was employed by Elgin Community college as a trainer and coordinator in the Dislocated Workers Program. He served on the board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Elgin, was Vice President of the local school union and was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He was a past member of the St. Charles Police Auxiliary.
Survivors include his wife, Anita, 3 daughters; Aimee, Jaclyn and Erin at home, his parents, Walter and Mary Foulkes of St. Charles, 3 sisters; Kathleen (Gerald) Mertes of Geneva, Mary Brandenburg of St. Charles and Sheila Foulkes of Chicago, 3 brothers; Charles (Janet) Foulkes, Michael (Kathy) Foulkes and John Foulkes all of St. Charles and many nieces and nephews.
A Liturgical Service was at 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 6, 1989 at the Norris Funeral Home. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, St. Charles where private graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memory fund in his memory.
