Edward P. Costello, 64, of St. Charles, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at Edward Hospital in Naperville.
He was born June 24, 1941, in Chicago, to Edward and Mary (Streba) Costello.
He was a member of St. John Neumann Church and the Loyal Order of Moose in St. Charles.
Mr. Costello is survived by a son, Michael of St. Charles; his mother, Mary of St. Charles; two brothers, Richard (Sue) of St. Charles and Michael (Karen) of Montgomery; two nieces, Sandra (Derek Lowkewicz) Costello of Hoffman Estates and Aimee Costello of Montgomery; a great-niece, Gretchen Stanfa and great-nephew, Benjamin Stanfa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward, and his wife, Sherry.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at St. John Neumann Church, 2900 E. Main St. (Route 64), St. Charles, with the Rev. Matt McMorrow officiating. Burial will be at St. Gall Cemetery, Elburn. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., (Route 64 and Route 25), St. Charles.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
