| About Me | "Freedom is what you do with what’s been done to you.” - Jean-Paul Sartre If you are reading my bio you are probably someone who is either a part of my life now or someone I have had the opportunity of meeting at some point in my life. My journey begins as a little girl growing up in Hopkins Park, Il. Hopkins Park, a place where life was so simple and pure for me as achild. I will never forget the many people I had the opportunity to meet and the fun I had growing up there. I attended Lorenzo R. Smith, and St. Anne High School. Like so many I decided to venture out to pursue goals that couldnot otherwise be fulfilled in Hopkins Park. I attended bothKankakee Community College, Illinois State University, and Olivet Nazarene University before obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Elemenatry Education. Becuase of my perseverance I am now fulfilling my lifelong dream to become a teacher. I currently teach kindergarten. I have also just completed my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading and literacy.
