About Me | If ever a song were to describe my life... "Well, it's okay, it's so nice. It's just another day in paradise. Well, there's no place that I'd rather be. It's two hearts And one dream I wouldn't trade it for anything. And I ask the Lord every night For just another day in paradise." I'm a wife first, mom second, and everything else comes third. I love my husband more than all the stars in the sky. I love my kids more than apple pie. (Sorry got caught up rhyming!) I am scatterbrained. I am simple minded in that it doesn't take much to make me laugh. I love going 4-wheeler riding in the mud with Tony and getting splattered, but cannot WAIT to take a shower when I get home. I get distracted by shiny things. I love to laugh and do it often, especially at myself. I am not a fan of cleaning. I really dislike reality TV. I am allergic to beef. I love breaking into a fit of giggles with my kids. I wouldn't mind a long walk on the beach and my favorite color is blue. Fairy tales are overrated, but having someone to come home to, a shoulder to lay your head on, and someone you can share your life, heart, and dreams with, is never overrated. I don't care if I'm famous when I die, so long as the people closest to me know how much they are loved and cherished. I'm a sucker for romantic comedies. I am a spell-checking fanatic and can't read something without checking it for grammer and spelling. Sitting with my kids in our pjs, watching cartoons, eating a bowl of cereal, and just being a kid with them is the BEST way to spend a Saturday morning. I love the sound of laughter, especially when it's Tony or my kids doing the laughing. I worry. I dissect. I fret. I try to find a reason in all things. I try to see the good in everyone. I love our puppies. I love to go out dancing. Honestly, give me a reason or occasion to and I'm there. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and get my feelings hurt easily. I worry about being a good Mom more than I blink, so... alot. I love Chinese food. I miss my grandmothers, Katie and June. I hope that they're near me, and watching over me and my kids. I hate saying good-bye. I'm sarcastic to a point where most people think I'm serious. I fell in love with my husband on our second date, and have been in love with him every since. I am horrible at math, yet I handle the accounting at my job??? I think dark chocolate may be the death of me. I think the creater of spandex/lycra deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. Avocado should be served on the side of everything. Except pancakes and chocolate. I love my family more than chocolate and avocados. I think the ability to make someone laugh or smile is the greatest thing in the world. If I teach my kids one thing and nothing else, I want it to be how to love, be love...(read more) |
