Robert E. Lebkuecher Sr, 74, of San Diego, California, formerly of Springfield, Illinois died on April 20, 1999. He was a graduate of Springfield High School. He retired after 31 years of service as a supervisor for the Telephone Company.
He was an active member of the San Diego Police Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol (RSVP) and was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II.
Survivors: wife, Dolores, formerly of Springfield, Illinois and attended Springfield High School; a daughter, Gloriaann Putnam, of Virginia Beach, VA, now residing in San Diego, California; two sons, Robert and Tom Lebkuecher, both of Santee, California; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana and Joan Wiese of Holiday, Florida.
Graveside services were at Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, California.
