About Me	* Like President Ronald Reagan, I was born in Illinois * Like six of our presidents--John Adams (October 30 1735), Rutherford B. Hayes (October 4, 1822), Chester A. Arthur (October 5, 1829), Theodore Roosevelt (October 27, 1858), Dwight D. Eisenhower (October 14, 1890), and Jimmy Carter (October 1, 1924), I was born in October (the month with the most presidential birthdays) * Like President Abraham Lincoln, my hometown is Springfield, Illinois * Like President Woodrow Wilson, I spent part of my childhood in Augusta, Georgia * Like President Zachary Taylor, I spent my teen years at Springfield (except his was a house named Springfield in KENTUCKY. Mine was Springfield High School in Springfield, ILLINOIS) * I was exactly four weeks old when President John F. Kennedy was shot * I attended two schools named after U.S. Presidents -- McKinley and Eisenhower (both located in Davenport, Iowa) * I lived in Georgia when Jimmy Carter was governor of Georgia. * Like 26 of our 43 (Grover Cleveland was elected to nonconsecutive terms) U.S. Presidents (I'm not going to name them all), I am a lawyer. * President Barack Obama has the following things in common with me -- He's from Illinois; he's a lawyer; he worked for the State of Illinois at one time; he's spent time in Springfield; he's in his 40's; and he has two daughters.
