About Me	After graduating from Lanphier HS in ' 70, I bounced around from job to job, and from Illinois to California. Started working in the farm supply industry in '74 in Athens, IL. Got married in July '77. My first son was born in Nov. '79. I lived in and around Springfield until 1981. In May'81, laid off from FS Feed Mill in Springfield & moved to the Tampa area, Florida. Became a state correctional officer in September that year. 2nd son born in Dec. '81 I retired Sept 29,2011. I love baseball and football and miss seeing the St. Louis Cardinals play on a regular basis.I'm now into kayaking and canoeing. I have planned a solo canoe trip down the entire length of the Mississippi River beginning May 17, 2014. Used to bowl and was pretty good at it. Once bowled a 298 game and missed winning 1st place for the tournament by just 2 pins...guess which two pins cost me the championship!!!!
