He is not shown in the 1967 SHS year book among the seniors for what would have been his senior year but he is among the juniors in the 1966 yearbook. He, and a fellow Marine, were killed in Vietnam when a high explosive round prematurely detonated in the tube of a 155 mm towed howitzer. Five other Marines were wounded.
