About Me	Spent 40 years serving in the Army, active duty, Army reserve, and Army National Guard in both Vermont and New Hampshire. During that time I worked as a municipal police officer for 20 years starting as a patrolman and retiring as the acting Chief of Police. A year after retiring (2001) I was talked into returning to police work as a part time deputy sheriff, and did that for another 17 years juggling that with military service and a full time job with WHELEN Eng. Co. Inc., where I continue to work today. I spend my free time with my family, riding my motorcycle, saltwater fishing, camping (in a camper, had 40 years of sleeping in tents and under the stars, I’m done with that!), and hunting for a house to retire in, in York Maine. Don’t do social media, haven’t since I learned during a deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom that the bad guys were using it to follow our forces in a not so nice way.
