Her older brother Darrell, and her younger sister, the late Diane grew up in Colesville, Maryland on Notley Road. Debbi went to Colesville Elementary school, White Oak Junior High, and Springbrook High, where she graduated in 1970. Debbi worked in the school bank, which helped her prepare her for her first job at then the Sandy Spring National Bank and Savings Institution. As a child Debbi grew up attending the Colesville Methodist Church, where her future husband’s mother taught her in kindergarten. Her husband, Ken Tracy, and she started dating after a Methodist Youth Fellowship retreat, when Debbi was 14. Ken and Debbi were engaged to be married in April of her senior year, at age 17, and were married in November of that year. Their first 2 years of marriage were spent in Jacksonville, Florida where Debbi worked at the Normandy Atlantic bank while Ken served 2 years in the Navy there. After returning to Maryland, and going to work for Montgomery Automotive, a business that her father started a few years before, Debbi and Ken bought their first house in Hillendale, Maryland. A year and a half later they added to their family with the birth of their daughter Christina Lynn (Christie). They built a new home in Fulton, Md in 1976. In 1977, Debbi gave birth to a daughter Caroleen Diane, who died 5 days later. In 1979, Debbi and Ken added to the family with the birth of their son, Joseph Gerald (Joey). The family moved to Clarksville, Md in 1996, and Debbi and Ken retired to Venice Fl. at the end of 2012. Debbi and Ken have 8 wonderful and loving grandchildren, Zachary, Nicole, Brett, Thomas, Camryn, Addyson, Colton, and Luke. Debbi was all about the family and always the family’s number 1 supporter in whatever, activity, endeavor, or sport was being pursued
