Inviting ALL to ALumni Prom

After more than 50 years on Hanover and Jackson Streets, saying good bye to the old high school will be quite an event for many. Thousands of students have graduated from Spring Grove High since it first opened its doors in 1952.
Add to that figure, the thousands of other people who have attended sporting events, musical programs ,dramas and other events in the school and on the field, as well as the number of family members who have been involved on a daily basis in their child’s education at Spring Grove High and the results are staggering. Clearly, this is a history making event in the life of our community.
How do you say good-bye to such an integral part of the landscape in the Grove? We plan to do so by taking time to reflect on the memories, good times and great education that took place on Hanover and Jackson Streets.
The Alumni Prom, an evening of reminiscing and reconnecting with old friends, is set for Saturday April 26 at the high school. The event is open to all Spring Grove Alumni and their guests as well as the teachers and staff who helped make the high school such a special place.
All ticket holders will be invited to a special Sneak Preview of the new high school from 3:30-5:30 p.m., when guided tours will be given of the new facility.
Eric Bowersox (Class of 1967) will provide music which covers the 50s through today - perfect for dancing and remembering! Special displays of photos and memorabilia will be available for viewing in
