| About Me | As I mentioned at the last reunion, I finally did end up getting a pilot's license to fly a gyroplane. I then went to Italy, to the factory, to build one. In January, 2020, while in the process of taking off, I had a stroke, and demolished the thing. Don't remember a thing about it. The stroke didn't affect things much as to speak or motor control, but I now have some titanium rods and screws in my back. The doctors say, the chance of an additional stroke in 5-years is 25%, so I've decided not to fly any more, unless I've got a safety pilot, so that pretty much limits how much I could fly, and, means buying a new one is not a logical thing to do!
