He was born August 10, 1956 to James Robert and Julia Ann Callahan, in Frankfort, Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Gayle; children, Bonnie and Ryan Callahan, Melissa and Mitchell Dean and Jennifer Shwartz; Parents; sister, Maureen Callahan; granddaughters, Serenity and Lilah; and many close friends he considered family. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, Florida.
