Juany Omernick was born on August 25, 1960 in Stevens Point to the late Eleanor and Wallace Omernick. And peacefully passed away on June 9th, 2017, after surrendering to a courageous battle to cancer.......... On November 9th, 1980, Juany and Dan Heck were married. Together they raised two children, Katie Jo Trzebiatowski (Max) and Kyle Heck (Tracy). Juany worked for 30 years as a chiropractic assistant. She also helped other local businesses with their accounting needs. She was very involved with the community through the Portage County Business Council, where she shared her creativity and organizational skills/talents.....those same skills/talents shined in high school, contributing to her many successful endeavors for the class of 1978....we THANK-YOU, Juany...from the class of 1978.....for all your accomplishments.......Noting her skills/talents...brings us to her happy place: the kitchen. Juany was an avid baker. She produced many wonderful meals and delicious treats for her family and four legged friends. R.I.P. our friend.
