One day after school, Champ asked me to teach him to play the violin . He asked me to please tell no one that he was trying to learn to play the violin . I’ll never forget , he picked up the violin and the bow and began moving his fingers along the strings as he pushed the bow back and forth.
Suddenly, magical music emerged from the instrument. In a matter of minutes ( literally ), he was “one with the violin” creating an unforgettable sound. In 10 minutes , he mastered the violin, and the rest is history .
