About	Elma Mary Chavez, My Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Cousin & Everyone's Good Friend went to Heaven on July 3, 2023. Elma was born on March 3rd, 1932 in a small farm house off 11th St. in Sparks, NV. Elma resided most of her life in Sparks, NV. She was the daughter of Angelo & Primia Lombardi along with sister Velda & brother Bobby. Elma graduated from Sparks High in 1941 and in 1951 met the Love of Her Life married George Chavez who was in the Nevada Air National Guard. George & Elma had two boys, Michael & Bobby. Elma worked at Bouquet Flower Shop and later worked at Kate Smith & Marvin Moss Elementary Schools, as a Teachers Aid. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, brother & son. Elma is survived by her son Bobby, 4 granddaughters & 1 grandson & 13 great grandchildren. Mom's passion was taking care of everyone else. Her love of cooking. Mom had such as sweet soul & was loved by all, her kindness & generosity was endless. I want to give special Thanks to Debbie, Renee & Billy, their love & support has been invaluable to me. When I first went into my Moms room she was able to say these words to me BOBBY, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, PLEASE TAKE ME HOME.
