About	Patricia “Pat” Jean Davidson passed away at the age of 81 on January 3rd, 2023 in Reno, Nevada. Born on March 8th, 1941 in Tulare, California to Everett and Lorene (Kermode) Woods, she was one of seven children. After spending most of her childhood in California, she moved with her family to Sparks, Nevada and attended Sparks High School. Artistic and athletic, Pat was involved in many clubs and activities – Drill Team, Pep Club, and Glee Club, just to name a few. It was there that she met Cal Davidson; and after graduation they later married and had four children together. While raising her family, she worked for over 25 years as a supervisor at Colorite Plastics; eventually retiring in 2003. Throughout her life, Pat stayed very active with a full range of interests. Bowling, playing softball, fishing, hunting, traveling, crafting – you name it, and Pat did it. She had a wide circle of friends as people naturally gravitated to her outgoing and easy style. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she was always up for anything. The life of the party, Pat was the first one to arrive and the last one to leave. Her generosity of spirit was also evident in everything and everyone that she touched. Truly the person “who would give you the shirt off her back,” Pat lent her unselfish support to many people throughout her life. Most of all, she was deeply devoted to her family. Through good times and bad, Pat was always there with a helping hand and a sympathetic ear. She was the one that they knew they could go to – the glue that held her extended family together. Nothing gave her greater pleasure than camping trips with her grandchildren, attending family reunions, and hosting holiday dinners. She spent her life doing the things that she loved - with the people that she loved. We will miss her more than we can ever express, but she will always be with us – forever in our hearts and minds. Pat is survived by her son, Thomas (Rebecca) Davidson of Reno, NV; son, Steven (Caire) Davidson of Sun Valley, NV; daughter Shelley Holland of Sun Valley, NV; son Gary (Kathy) Davidson of Medford, OR; sister Carol Morford of Manteca, CA; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members - as well as many, many friends who loved her very much. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 17th at the Lazy 5 Park in Sparks, Nevada. Please save the date with details to follow. Posted online on February 21, 2023
