Richard Sean Burton

Army, 9 Years
Enlisted in the Army as 11B Infantry. With a break in service, he has a total of 9 years active duty. He has served with the 82nd Airborne in Afghanistan and Iraq, and a second time in Iraq with the XVIII Airborne Corps LRSC. He has since reclassed as a 68V Respiratory Therapist. His awards and decorations include: 3 Army Commendation Medals, 1 Army Achievement Medal, 3 Army Good Conduct Medals, 2 National Defense Service Medals, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War Against Terrorism Service Medal, the Global War Against Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, 2 NCO Professional Development Ribbons, the Army Service Ribbon, 3 Overseas Service Ribbons, the Joint Meritorious Unit Award, the Meritorious Unit Commendation, the Ranger Tab, the Expert Infantryman Badge, the Combat Infantryman Badge,and the Parachutist Badge.
He is currently a Respiratory Therapist at Irwin Army Community Hospital in Fort Riley, KS.
