About Me	Continued school, first at Cornell University then at the University of Pennsylvania where I completed my MD and PhD degrees. I moved to San Francisco for training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatolgoy and for additional research training before joining the faculty in the Department of Medicine at the University of Iowa. From there, we returned to the University of Pennsylvania where I am now the Chief Scientific Officer of the Department of Medicine and the Director of the Signal Transduction Program in the Abramson Family Cancer Research.
