David was at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches while I was also there. One afternoon in February 1976, he walked me out to my car, where I discovered someone had shattered my passenger side window and stolen my stereo system. I couldn’t even think what to do, but David helped me pick up all the glass pieces and wrapped the door window up, so I could drive up to Shreveport to my parents’ home and have a new window put in. He was such a nice young man! I have often remembered him through the years, very sad when I first heard of the traffic accident. Mr. Lupton, I’m sorry for your loss.
