About	John N. Farnsworth, 43, of 6 Freeman St., Lakewood, died at 12:02 a.m. Sunday (May 31, 2009) in WCA Hospital. He was born Sept. 17, 1965, in Jamestown, the son of John R. Farnsworth and Edna Nelson Farnsworth. John was a 1983 graduate of Southwestern Central High School, and was employed at Trinity Biotech. Earlier, he worked for FedEx. He was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and the Lakewood Fire Department, where he was currently assistant captain. An avid sports fan, John enjoyed golf, bowling, and following the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers. Surviving besides his parents are two sisters: Sandra (Ronald) Barker of Gerry, and Marcia (Bruce) Bretz of Lakewood; five nieces and nephews: James, Megan, and Jordan Bretz; Nelson and Norman Barker; and his girlfriend, Leslie Weber. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edwin and Katherine Nelson; and paternal grandparents, Rollo and Margaret Farnsworth. Memorials may be made to Lakewood Fire Department, 37 J.W.
