About	A Fallen Trojan Kevin M. Smith, 43 formerly of 3554 West Oak Hill Road in Ellicott died on Tuesday June 3rd in Buffalo, New York. A life long resident of Busti and Ellicott, he was born on May 10th 1965, the eldest son of Patricia A Smith and the late R. Theodore Smith. He is survived by his mother, his sons Andrew Smith and Mathew Smith, his brother Jeffrey Smith, his ex-wife Jill Carlson Smith, his maternal grandmother Angeline Jackson, his nephew Jacob Smith several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends and former employees. Kevin had a keen mind, a generous heart and an entrepreneur spirit and will be remembered as a loving son, father, uncle, brother, cousin and friend to many people. He was the 1983 Valedictorian at Southwestern High School and was on both the wrestling and football teams. He was a Boy’s State Representative and finalist for Boys Nation, and President of National Honor Society. Mr. Smith also earned two Associate degrees from Jamestown Community College in Mathematics and Science and Computer Science. He was a student trustee and charter member of Phil Theta Kappa. After graduation Smith became a self employed business man. There will be no calling hours and in lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to a charity of your choice, The Ted Smith Scholarship Fund at Jamestown Community College, 525 Falconer Street, Jamestown or St. Susan’s Center, 31Water St., Jamestown. Kevin can also be remembered by showing a kindness to a stranger ,being non-judgmental or by encouraging others as they journey through life.
