| About Me | DJW is a dance music artist and performer originally from Detroit, Michigan. Currently living in central Florida, DJW has been writing and recording music for many years. Originally a part of the group Luv-n-Wunder, DJW branched out as a solo artist in early 2005 and has since then commercially released three singles in the tribal/circuit dance genre. During the earlier part of his career, DJW worked with producers and remixers like Randy Friess (aka Bitchdome), DJ MichaelAngelo, MixMan Mike, DJ Gabriel, K.O., Big Bang, and DJ S.O.O.N. Some of the songs recorded during this time period include "Shine", "All Hail The Diva", "Live It Up", and "Sign Your Name". In early 2006, DJW was approached by HMSP Music Group to make the track "Circuit Boy" his first officially-released single. Up and coming remixers from around the world have attached their names to the project, including Saliva Commandos, DJ Dena, Deejay FatCat and DJ Will Beats. This track, along with DJW's subsequent singles "Unity" and "Feel Free" was made available on music distribution sites like beatport.com, i-Tunes, as well as on physical CD singles. DJW has performed at several well-known gay clubs in Tampa, FL including Chambers, G-Bar, Club Hedo, and Code/Revolution Sundays, as well as special events such as the Czar Hair & Art show. He was also featured on the cover of local entertainment magazine TLW for their June 28th, 2006 issue. DJW was among the headliners at the 2007 Winter Music Conference at the Sister 8025 Records' WMC Showcase, in both Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. His first album ...(read more) |
