About Me	Pianist, Trombonist, Composer, Arranger. After high school went to UMKC from 84'-88' and dropped out after not feeling the commitment. Got married and joined the USMC in 1991. Served with HMT-302 helicopter squardron before deploying to Somalia with HMH-363 (GO RED LIONS!). Served in combat in 1993 and returned to MCAS El Toro in Irvine, CA. Finished my enlistment playing bass trombone, piano and running sound for the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing band, (played Nixon's funeral!) In 1996, returned to UMKC, graduated in 2000 (redid almost all my classes). In 2001, came in 2nd for the bass trombone chair with Army Jazz Ambassadors in DC. Accepted staff arranging position with Ground Forces Band in Atlanta, GA. Married my wife Rahcel on Oct 27th, 2001 in Independence, MO After finishing my service with the Army in 2005, we returned home to KC. I have done dozens of independant film scores, arrangements for concert band, marching band, orchestra, big band and tons of lead sheets, whew! Have performed with many great artists including Randy Brecker, Clark Terry, Peter Ernskine, Natalie Cole, Lou Rawls, Rob McConnell, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Pete Christlieb and many others.
