About Me	I was a late-bloomer. I was just getting some direction while many of you were graduating college. I spent two-years in the Army ('83-'85). I graduated CCC in '86 and Cortland in '89. Moved to South Carolina in '91, taught social studies and coached baseball, football and soccer. My wife and best-friend, Mary, and I have been married for 21-years. I have five step-children, 20 grandchildren (one in Heaven) and four great-grandchildren (two in Heaven) and one on the way. We moved to Augusta, GA to be part of the Alleluia Community - an ecumenical, covenant Christian community of Catholics and non-Catholics. We are charismatic in that we use the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Isaiah and I Corinthians. In 2012, I was ordained a Permanent Deacon for the Diocese of Savannah. I serve at St. Joseph Parish. Through the Diocese and the Alleluia School of Spiritual Direction, I am a certified Spiritual Director - I serve Catholics and non-Catholics. My 50s have been medically challenging after a virus attacked my heart in 2012. On December 7-8, 2018, I was gifted with a heart-transplant, from a very generous young man.
