About Me | I remember when my brother Jim ( James Brown ) was in a car accident, I slowly became "Jim's sister Debbie" not introduced as "our daughter Debbie" .... but I got used to it, and never thought twice about it. I love all three of my children unconditionally. When my children hurt, I hurt. I lost my youngest son James when he was 23 years old on 11/16/10. Six weeks before his 24th birthday. He cared about people, he always met new people everywhere he went. There are some bad influences in his life I wished he never met. I'm sure he crosses their mind. I never hear from them. He was a responsible young man with a future ahead of him. The last time I saw James, he surprised me by coming over late one night, around 10:00. He came to my room and said, it's me..James. It was a cold November night. He laid across my bed and put his cold hand balled up inside my warm hand and we talked about his plans for the future. Jamie was there watching Nick at Night. He told her to do her homework after school before playing or TV and to take care of 9e..that's what she calls me. We talked holding hands for over an hour. Jamie had fallen asleep. She was seven. He had to go so he could get rested before work.. he kissed Jamie's head several times, then gave me a hug and a kiss then said I love you mom. I never saw him alive again. I found him 4 days later he died at his apartment, he had fallen and hit his head on his nightstand 36 hours earlier. I miss you James, what a great son. <3 I love you James <3 12/28/86 - 11/16/10 The best, and the worst days of my life. I'm so proud of who my son Rich became. He's a little brother, and a big brother, his fathers only son, my first son, a proud daddy, and a fiance'. I admire his self discipline, how he sets reachable goals, that may change to be more of a challenge to him. He has a heart of gold, and cares about his family. <3 I love you Rich. <3 My daughter Amy is the sweetest person I know. My first born. She's the most caring wife, very fair in her marriage, and a loving mother to her two girls. She puts them before herself most times. Amy's very respectful, honest and sincere. Everything she does is next to perfection. I admire her strength and how she speaks her mind. <3 I love you Amy <3 Thank you for listening to me. : ) We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is "unseen". Wha...(read more) |
