Pleas (Paul) Henderson

Class of 1965

Paul, known as Pleas in high school ,joined the Air Force shortly after graduating in 1965. After the military went to nursing school, and then nurse anesthesia school, graduating from Rush University in Chicago. Received a master's degree in health services administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. Co-founder of Great Lakes Anesthesia in Elkhart, Indiana. Currently serves as President of Great Lakes Anesthesia, which employees more than 40 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, and 12 Anesthesiologists in Indiana. Great Lakes Anesthesia is Indiana's largest employer of nurse anesthetists, and has become one of Indiana's largest anesthesiology groups providing services at eleven Indiana hospitals, and seven ambulatory surgery centers. Currently resides in Rochester, Indiana.
