Alumni Soccer Game

We are planning the Alumni Soccer Game for this and I was hoping you could list the info on the Alumni Website. The game will be held on July 27th at the Century United Field. All proceeds from the game go to a scholarship for one or two graduating soccer players from the 2013 team[s]. South Park High School's Career Cluster Fair

Good Afternoon,

For the past nine years seven school districts in Southwestern PA have collaboratively sponsored " Career Clusters" for our sophomore and junior students. "Career Clusters" are offered throughout the school year enabling students to learn about career opportunities in their particular field of interest. The schools participating in these school to career events are Bethel Park, Chartiers Valley, Mt. Lebanon, South Fayette and Upper Saint Clair in Allegheny County and Canon-McMillan and Peters Twp., in Washington County.

Local businesses and post secondary institutions want Pittsburgh youth to stay home to establish their careers. We could not agree more. The intent of this collaboration is to help guide our students in making wiser, more informed decisions about their lives after high school. In an effort to educate our students about the opportunities that can be found "right in their own back yard" we invite local corporations and small businesses from four career clusters to spend a morning with students from these seven schools.

The clusters are divided into four groups: Arts/Humanities, Business/Information/Government/Law, Engineering/Industry/Science/Building Trades, and Health/Human Services/Education.

On the morning of October 17, 2008, the South Park School District will host the Business/Information/Government/Law Cluster. This event will take place at South Park High School from approximately 9:00am until noon. We would like to invite you or a representative from your company to join us for this morning's event.

We know both you and your employees are busy, but we hope you can participate in this mornings event. your presence would help to promote the advantages of staying in the Pittsburgh region to the students of Southwestern PA. They are this region's greatest resource.
