| About Me | After graduation, I attended Purdue where I received my Bachelor's in English Education. I then married but divorced within 3 years. My first teaching job was at Tecumseh Jr. High School in Lafayette for 3 years. After I left Tecumseh, I returned to my alma mater to teach from 1980-1986 where I also met my present husband. We are the parents of 1 son, Adam, (who was the crown bearer at Football Homecoming in 1982). My husband became a football and wrestling coach at Clinton Central H.S. so we both taught there for 1 year at which time, Dave was named the new head football coach at Fountain Central which brought us back to the area. I was hired at Attica High School. I then obtained a masters in school counseling and worked as a counselor part-time and a high school English teacher. My 23 years at Attica were wonderful!! I am now retired (yeah!!!) but still serve as a mentor for elementary children, lead Bible Study for Women in my church, sub for special ed students (LOVE!!!), and share fun with old and new friends. My husband is still working as an administrator for the Lafayette School Corporation. Adam is 34 but remains unmarried at this time. I AM PATIENTLY WAITING FOR GRANDCHILDREN!!!! Except for being hospitalized twice with anorexia, spending a total of 72 days in in-patient treatment, and 3 years total in programs and therapy sessions, I have been healthy and happy.
